Six decades of history, two plants in Emilia Romagna and Veneto, over 230 employees and a total turnover of 78 million Euros. These are the numbers of Coind, an important industrial group founded in 1961 in Castel Maggiore, in the province of Bologna, which is now a solid business of national importance.We are a leader in the production of private label coffee, with a total of 7,000 tons roasted every year, a coverage of over 60% in the private label segment in Italy and an international presence in over 60 countries.

Coind and other
Production sectors
Coind has two very distinct divisions, one dedicated to coffee production and the other to the world of cosmetics and sanitization.
Coffee is the company’s core business.
We are able to offer most of the formats in demand on the market, such as single-dose coffee in compatible capsules, coffee beans, ground coffee and pods, which are produced in our plant in Castel Maggiore (Bologna). Our diversified portfolio means that we operate in all business segments: from Large-Scale Distribution and Retail chains, to the Vending Channel, eCommerce and Ho.Re.Ca.
The latter channel is presided over by our subsidiary Coind Trading Srl whose products cover all the needs of the coffee shop and restaurant world, including the supply of professional equipment e training courses..
In our plant in Noale, in the province of Venice, we concentrate on the production of cosmetics and toiletries. For over 30 years we have been partners of the major groups operating in the Retail sector,, and our Venetian plant is able to develop face and body creams, sun and baby creams, hair products, deodorants and toothpastes, always focusing on high-quality formats. The annual production volume is around 10,000 tons and 25 million pieces, with more than 15% of the turnover coming from specially formulated green, products made with organic raw materials.
Finally, at our Castel Maggiore headquarters, we also have an industrial sanitisation division, that produces solutions for the cleaning and sanitisation of domestic, commercial and industrial environments, marketed under the PkSan brand..
